These women, interviewed by the artists during their residency at the Brussels Sewer Museum (2021), guide us through a masculine universe, an underground world where no woman ever descends.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<i>No. It&#8217;s not for me. I don&#8217;t like that, crawling things. No, I couldn&#8217;t have been a sewer woman, no. No, no, I couldn&#8217;t do that job. It wouldn&#8217;t even occur to me to go down there. I don&#8217;t think a woman has ever gone down a sewer.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Are there any \u2018sewer women\u2019?
