This activity spans various fields of exploration: scientific, technological, artistic, and educational. A branch of field recording, it has recently gained renewed interest due to digital innovations and the creativity of its practitioners. Audio-naturalism adopts a rather radical approach by often distancing itself from highly anthropized environments in order to focus on the sonic expression of &#8220;wild&#8221; spaces and species, increasingly affected by human activities. This conference, accessible to a broad audience, aims to introduce the uniqueness of this practice, which celebrates, in its own way, certain &#8220;world musics&#8221; on the verge of disappearance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Spanning various fields of exploration (scientific, technological, artistic, educational&#8230;), audio-naturalism is a marginal yet expanding branch of field recording. It is dedicated to the observation and recording of &#8220;natural&#8221; sounds, often seeking to distance itself from highly anthropized environments. This conference, open to a wide audience, aims to introduce the uniqueness of this practice, which celebrates certain sonic expressions of the world, increasingly threatened by human activities, particularly in industrialized countries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A marginal yet growing practice, audio-naturalism spans various scientific and artistic fields, focusing on the sonic expressions of &#8220;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">wild&#8221; spaces and species, increasingly affected by human activities. The conference includes sound broadcasts and interactions with the audience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>\u00b0\u00b0\u00b0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After obtaining a degree (DNSEP) from an art school and working for ten years as an environmental educator for popular education associations, <strong>Marc Namblard<\/strong> now lives and works in the Grand-Est region as a naturalist guide, audio-naturalist, and sound artist. <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">His numerous creations (for publishing, museography, performance, cinema, etc.) alternate between naturalist compositions, educational projects, experiments, and musical explorations. They are also marked by recurring thematic and territorial elements, as well as numerous collaborations with visual and sound artists, such as wildlife photographer Vincent Munier, filmmaker Robin Hunzinger, composer Christian Zan\u00e9si, and composer Christine Groult.
