Can you actually feel a sound? And hear a movement? A dancer and a musician take you on a journey to the endless possibilities of your body. A body that can make music and dance.
Klankkast is a playful work in progress by Keren Levi and Aurélie Nyirabikali Lierman, who recently embarked on a new duo collaboration creating a miniature music theatrical experience for toddlers and preschoolers (ages 2-6) by investigating the physicality of voice and the expressive voice of the body.

Keren Levi has been creating multidisciplinary dance performances since 2004. Her work can be seen in theatres and at festivals in the Netherlands and internationally. With a playful, inventive combination of abstract concepts and technology, Levi stimulates the imagination of adults, children and young people. The theme of perception – the combination of different perspectives and the live manipulation of images – is a rich source of inspiration for her work. Her performances have been awarded several prizes.
Aurélie Nyirabikali Lierman studied music composition, radio documentary, Western classical singing and jazz singing. Her work, a synthesis of radio art and music theatre from an Afro-European perspective, is described as groundbreaking, daring and delicate. She brings unique stories to life in an accessible and innovative way: often based on acoustic sounds and soundscapes that she makes move like a kind of 3D cinema for the ears.
