These workshops aim to develop listening skills and attention to sound phenomena through the playful manipulation of sound bodies (corps sonores) made from different materials.
The approach aims to awaken participants’ sensitivity to the acoustic richness of the surrounding world, inviting them to explore sound not as mere noise, but as living, expressive and musical material.
Throughout the day, participants are guided through a start-to-finish process:
- Workshop 1: discovery and play with sound bodies, followed by recordings
- Workshop 2: transformation of previously recorded sounds using digital tools in order to make a composition
- Workshop 3: composition: using the sounds collected and transformed, we will work together to create a short acousmatic piece (2′ to 3′), designed as a shared experience of listening and musical creation.
The aim is to convey a sensitive and intuitive approach to composition, where every gesture, every body and every silence contributes to the construction of a collective musical space.
